Where is Menara Peninsula hotel?, that's the first question in my mind when my boss assign me to attend a socialization of hunting laws in Jakarta on December 6, 2012. Frankly speaking, I don't well geography of Jakarta. Because I never stay for long stay here. Beside that I don't like going everywhere if in Jakarta. I have some for that, for the example:
- Almost all the way in Jakarta having traffic, so if I would like to some place. It's will take hours and I feel if every day like this I will be old man on the road.
- I'm little afraid having crime action
Nevertheless, I decided to attend that socialization. It take one and half hour by flight from my city in Padang, West Sumatera to Jakarta. When I Arrive in Jakarta, I asked some people, where is Menara Peninsula Hotel? and from the Airport, How should I got there. Most of them answer me with friendly answer. The people suggested me to take shuttle bus (Damri) to Blok M area or to shuttle to Slipi and I should stop in Slipi. The fare for shuttle bus Rp 20.000,- (USD 2) per person or about Rp 100.000,- (USD 10) by taxi. That's only take 20 minutes from the Soekarno Hatta Airport in Jakarta to the hotel. And luckily the hotel was on the roadside.
